The Late Night Musings and Wanderings of Lt. Cain about Events and Opinions in and Around Lexington, MA Leading to and Encompassing the Struggle for Liberty in the American Colonies

1. Loyalist Accounts

2. Loyalist Recantations

Attached please find four accounts of the Battle of Lexington which were published in Massachusetts, New Hampshire,
Connecticut and New York newspapers. Interestingly enough, the activities of the Lexington militia described in these
accounts vary, with at least one account stating the militia was drilling on the Green prior to the battle.
Obviously these accounts have little weight, but are interesting none the less.
