Our Mission

The purpose of the Corporation is to commemorate the actions of the men and women of Lexington on April 19, 1775, including the Battle of Lexington, Parker’s Revenge, and the Civilian Evacuation of the Town of Lexington, encouraging patriotism, camaraderie, to assist in the proper observances of patriotic holidays in Lexington and elsewhere, and promoting living history by fostering and extending the ideals of the Revolutionary Period as exemplified by the Town of Lexington in 1775.
